A modern bungalow in stunning County Kilkenny, The Bungalow Farmhouse offers a genuine Irish welcome to all guests. On a working farm, guests can enjoy great food and hospitality from host Gretta Power. Just 6km from the picturesque village of Freshford, guests can enjoy a pint or two and even participate in the Irish Conker Championships held annually in the village. Guests will be superbly located to tour medieval Kilkenny city, with its magnificent castle, St. Canice’s Cathedral and National Crafts Gallery, and the exceptional Rock of Cashel in nearby Tipperary. Families are very welcome at the bed and breakfast. Farmstay Experience The Bungalow Farmhouse is set on a working beef, sheep and horse farm. Guests are welcome to see, and where possible, take part in the farm activities that are taking place at the time of their visit such as feeding the orphan lambs and horses.  Guests can also watch Sean the Farmer/Host making silage/hay, rounding up the sheep or they can just go for a casual stroll around the farm.
