Alvito
Carefully kept the recovered traces of a typical Alentejo house. The house is located on the highest part of the village, on the spot where once worked the floors, used to dry cereals - thus explaining the name of the House. The owner, Luis Varela Alentejo is a soul, that when he found the ruins of what was to become the Casa do Alto da Eira, did not hesitate to go to work and started reconstruction while maintaining the typical architecture of the region. The whitewashed walls, the sidewalk Alentejo, the handmade tiles, the wooden beams and original tiles are just some of the hallmarks of the detail of the recovery of this house. Also the wall that surrounds the house has emerged with the use of stones, which the owner was collecting in the field.Inside, four comfortable bedrooms, served by en suite bathrooms, combine the hardiness needed to typical comfort of today.
