We had an evening drink of wine sat outside watching the world go buy. Staff were super friendly. I found the drinks to be reasonable, especially given the area. I just wish there was a wine menu online because we can't remember what it is we drank, and we need to purchase some bottles for ourselves!

The GPH is just simply a great little hotel. The location is wonderful and the staff and level of service is spectacular. We had some wonderful dishes in the restaurant and many fantastic cocktails, glasses of wine, and coffees at the bar. We stayed for 10 days last spring on the top floor. The staff treated us like visiting friends. We were able to get great tips about off the path places to visit. The room was generous in size and the bathroom was very large. After reading about the hotel on a few sophisticated design websites we decided to give it a try and I recommend that you do as well. We had visited SoPi back in 2015 and knew it was becoming the trendy place to be in Paris and by 2017 it was the place to be. There are many great and highly rated yet inexpensive places to eat nearby that are a very short walk (10 minutes at most) from the hotel. We have been to Paris many times, we have payed much more for a room, but we have never had a better stay than at the GPH!

Very stylish hotel - ended up booking a room there as relatively close to Gare du Nord, after our Eurostar back to London was cancelled. The girl at reception was incredibly useful when it looked like they had no room left - but she managed to find space for us anyway, understanding the situation. The room was small but very nicely thought and decorated. I really liked the atmosphere of the hotel, both rooms and reception/cocktail bar, it felt like being in an old movie. Cocktails are very delicious, we tried the Negroni variations and loved them both. We had mixed feeling regarding the food: we really liked the starters (tempura and tuna) but were not impressed by the mains (pasta). Maybe we ordered wrong. Overall a very good hotel, I would go back.
