Em geral e ruim, atendimento razoável, de alguns funcionários. O acesso a recepção é horrível, tem uma escadaria que parece que nunca acaba, Wi-Fi só funciona na recepção. Os quartos são bons, mas não tem Wi-Fi. Falha gravíssima nos dias de hoje, como também não tem frigobar nos quartos. Te obriga a comer no restaurante do hotel, que também não é lá essas coisas. Os corredores são apertados, parece um porão, elevador não funciona. Em questão a distância do centro, é um pouco longe, mas vc compensa pegando um ônibus, que tem vários e super seguro, melhor e mais em conta que taxi. Enfim, a culpa por essa experiência ruim também é minha, por não investigar antes sobre o hotel, por isso estoueaqui colocando minha opiniao para ajudar outras pessoas a não ter essa experiência ruim, e, não recomendo e nao voltaria.

The snack bar here is always closed. The rooms are clean but noisy, the hotel is not clean. There’s cockroaches on the hallways and the ceilings are caving in with water leaks. The only restaurant is closed 3 hours a day and good luck finding something to eat. The drinks are good but that’s it.

Desde el día uno fue terrible , no nos dejaban pasar porque supuestamente no había reservación a nuestros nombres, después que siempre si, pero no había habitación, nos dieron habitación horrible, en el clóset había cucaracha muerta, un día de lluvia se filtro el agua por la ventana que tenía el cristal roto y se inundó , y la solución fue poner unas toallas en el piso, y que no nos podían cambiar de habitación porque todas estaban así supuestamente. Mala atención en recepción y guardias de entrada. Buffet rico me gustó mucho,.solo aprovechamos el desayuno ya que desde temprano salíamos y si llegabas 15 ,20 min antes de las 11pm pues ya no había servicio,.cuando se supone era hasta las 11pm.

En verdad venimos muy contentos con la estancia en este hotel, ambiente súper familiar, muy rica comida, muy limpio y la gente que trabaja ahí muy atentos. Si volveremos. :)

Para ir a la playa hay que bajar muchas escaleras y yo uso bastón .. el fondo de la alberca es de cemento y es muy incómoda y los niños están asta tarde grité y grité .. y me tocó que los huéspedes de abajo fumaban en su balcón y TODO EL HUMO ENTRABA A MI HABITACIÓN.. DIARIO .. NO VOLVERIA

Good: beach access, chill area, great location. Main areas were okay.Bad: bad food and lack of customer service. If you ask for something, they won’t help you unless you ask 2/3 times. They didn’t provide room service to our room (we were staying in the hotel part), towels were never changed, you have to ask for new towels in the front desk. The shower in our room was broken, I asked to have our room changed and said they couldn’t do that. Then they offered to send a technician that never showed up. I asked to get the shower fixed for three days in a row and nothing.

Nice hotel/resort. I stayed at an AirBnB here, the room has everything I needed and my only concern is there were some bedbugs. Not enough for me to freak out, I just killed them with a tissue whenever I see them, and haven't seen any today, but saw quite a few the other day, I'm not worried about sleeping since my bed doesn't seem to have many crawling in it, probably a few during the night - but at an averagely priced place like this, it's going to have some stuff like that. I enjoy the area, the pool and beach is nice, and you can swim in the ocean. Close enough to convenience stores that you can walk, buses also right nearby.

La playa es hermosa, el snack bar está muy bien, pero el buffet está pésimo,el hotel está muy descuidado, sin mantenimiento,no funcionan el aire y las teles en algunas habitaciones, ni las regaderas de la zona de playa. algunas personas se ve que trabajan de mal humor y otras traen el gusto de Trabajar pero no porque ahí los motiven. No recomiendo que vayan

Stayed here a few weeks ago and would never go back to be honest. Our room had mold on the walls, shower did not drain water properly, toilet was dirty, shower had broken tile, mirrors were very dirty, no towels we had to call the front desk and just received 2 (that were not the cleanest), our door would not close properly unless we locked from the inside. Rooms are very basic. Booked through Agoda.

We stayed in the apartment part of the hotel. The amenities were basic to some areas of improvement but the view was absolutely breathtaking! The place has access to a private secluded beach which is great.

I stayed here too nights after missing my flight back home and needing a quick affordable place to stay. I see people bashing this place as if they expected a luxury stay for 50 dollars a night lol. You get exactly what you pay for, the view was breath taking, staff was very helpful, the beach restaurant/ bar made great tacos, strong drinks and thw cook was hilarious. I would recommend this place for anyone strapped for cash and needing a quick cheap place to lay low. If you are looking for a luxury stay then expect to pay luxury prices.

Péssima experiência. Mais de 100 dólares (500 reais por dia) na diária e colocaram num quarto péssimo, com goteira e descarga estragara. Somente após reclamacao no site da expedida (depois de 4dias) fizeram a troca pra um quarto que não chega nem perto do prometido ou valor pago. O atendimento dos funcionários é grosseiro. Não recomendo, pode acabar com a experiência do local.

Long story short, the bathroom connected to our room had pipes leaking sewage which were emitting a strong odor. Management first tried to deny the problem, then yielded and sent a maintenance crew, who attempted to fix the issue not by addressing the pipes, but by sealing the wooden cupboard containing said pipes with a sealant and caulk. Needless to say this did not remedy the problem and only added a strong chemical smell of the caulk/sealant to the already malodorous air. They also would not provide a fan in order to help air out the place. After much back and forth with no resolution, we ended up having to book a room at another place and left this “resort” behind. Spend a bit more to save yourself a whole lot of hassle.

Um hotel excelente para quem quer descansar, a piscina não é funda, é ótima para crianças ! É um hotel rústico, um dia mais antigos da zona hoteleira, os quartos são grandes e bem limpinhos, adorei este lugar ! Tem uma praia ao fundo que você pode tomar e sol e apreciar o mar ! Eu recomendo este lugar !!!

O lugar é bom mas deixou a desejar, aluguei o apartamento com a proprietária e tudo que eu queria resolver tinha que ser com ela, estava tendo obras no andar de cima, uma barulheira danada até tarde da noite, fui reclamar na recepção e falaram que eu deveria falar com a proprietária. Muito cuidado ao comprar pacotes All incluse, tem as entrelinhas no meio, buffet fraco também. Limpeza ok, assistência da proprietária, muito boa também, lugar lindo mas o hotel tem que melhorar a assistência aos hóspedes.

Solymar has very affordable prices such as $44 dollars a night. So I really can’t complain. Like they say “you get what you paid for”. The first Bellman/concierge we had was so kind and respectful very helpful! Unfortunately that was the only positive thing about our stay. We stayed three nights and were only allowed 1 towel for the whole 3 nights. They refused to give us more towels and we could not take them on the tours. The Front desk was okay not the best customer service. The bathroom walls were pretty dirty and gross. Also the beds were extremely dirty, hairs all over the sheets and to top it off you are only given 1 sheet to cover yourself with. I definitely would not come back even if the nights are extremely affordable. The buffet is also not the best.

I was SCAMMED at the front desk. Be careful. Shady people that work at the front. I asked for a ticket to be printed out. The guy charged me 35 MXN Pesos for each paper. LOL. WOW! Thats almost $5 USD. HE WAS RUDE & SMART SARCASM BEHAVIOR. Not sure why they hire people like that here. So disappointed. Will never come back or recommend this place.

Besr way to stay at Solymar is to rent a condo through Adrianna Air bnb, not the hotel. The rooms have a full sized fridge, microwave, toaster oven and hot plate. She also has a Penthouse available. Her rooms, located on the 2nd floor have ocean views. The location is away from the busy life of Cancun at 18.7km along hotel strip. Buses constantly run down the 4 lane strip and drive quickly!
The beach is clear of algae and garbage. The water is sparkling blue and often wavy.

The location is a bit far from the most famous beaches, meaning you will have to walk more to arrive but it also means a more private beach. It has a pool BUT it closes early, around 20:00. Little food nearby although they have a restaurant

We stayed here using Airbnb but it was a part of the resort. The resort is pretty good. It has a private beach and a pool which is mostly not crowded even in the busy season. The room has an awesome view of the ocean. I won't recommend the restaurant on the premises. Great connectivity with the bus service right outside the condos.

Loved this place. There’s a bar at the pool and a restaurant by the beach. Full service in the beach area with shade and long chairs. They keep an eye on your stuff while you go for walks and baths. Epic value. Will recommend and come back for sure

We were stranded with no money and just needed to use the ATM. The guard couldnt speak English so he called the front desk to translate. The front desk was willing to meet us at the front door and escort us to the ATM and back out after being understanding of the situation. When I gave the gaurd back the phone so the man on it could explain, the gaurd told him he would not let us in. Also translated back to use by the front desk personal. Side note, a few more hotels down they were kind enough to allow us to use theirs so we were not stranded and had money for the bus or a taxi.
