The rooms are very old and poor. The floor is cracked and the beds/furniture very old and noisy. The bathroom is also dated, we had ants in our bathroom even if we stayed at the 2nd floor. Also the tub drain was clogged and we had to take a shower with the water closed otherwise the tub will be full. The cleaning staff very rude, they enter in your room without knocking and they didn’t care that you were there. They told me to move so they can do their job. They even entered in the bathroom without knocking while my friend was taking a shower. They don’t change the sheets, they are just doing the beds and will change the towels once every 2 days. The receptionists are rude, they don’t offer all the information and they will tell you that “you should know, is not possible “ and they speak English worst than a toddler, Ina was the worst. We stayed for 7 nights, this was our package, and because of a flight delay, we did the check in at 11 pm and we had to to the check out at 10 am even if our flight is at 10 pm. The hotel offers the possibility for late check out, for 50 €, but nobody told us and when we went to ask at the reception they told us that we should know this and that now is too late ( that was one day before we had to leave). The food was edible if you’ll add salt and stick to French fries and burgers, or things that you know. Not diverse, same food every day almost, but if you go eat after half an hour since they started, you’ll barely find any food and we had to pay for our drinks even if we booked and paid for all inclusive. I don’t recommend this hotel, for the prices they charge, they offer very bad quality services. Calella is amazing, but book a different hotel.

Me and my children stayed here and was very impressed with the refurbishment, as not anything like what's advertised on love holidays. Rooms are OK size with storage and beds made every day, with fresh towels. The staff go above and beyond, with OK children's entertainment in the day and evening. Would definitely stay again, as also wheelchair friendly.

Room was okay (clean, nice view to the mountains). Some of the staff were great, others were not. Despite booked all inclusive we only tried to eat in the "restaurant" a couple of times. It was much easier to go to any of the nearby restaurants, as the waiting times and noise in the hotel restaurant were unbearable (and the food was much nicer outside the hotel as well). Unfortunately the hotel got overloaded with kids football groups - that made it very difficult to relax.

Room very poor standard, broken tiles on floor, Shower a disaster, water flooded out the front door on first use. Bath too small and I'm only 6ft tall but just about able to wash my legs in it.
Everything dated, rooms, lifts, bar, pool.
Unfortunately during our visit we had soccer camps so lots of children all the time. Staff did their best to control these most of the time, it could have been worse.
Food - didn't even attempt to eat or drink there, so can't comment on this.
Positive side, if you want a basic room, hotel near Calella and staff that do try there best then this hotel is sufficient.

I am definitely returning for my next visit to Calella! The only thing that was a little disappointing was that the all inclusive drinks would end at 11pm, but I understand why they do this.

Los muebles en la misma si que dejan expuesta la necesidad de una reforma!No obstante....La atención del personal es extraordinaria! Menudo equipo tenéis! El personal de la recepción atencioso, comunicativos y poseedores de un trato esquisito hacía al cliente.En el bar:Básicamente lo mismo! una atención genial! Son prestativos, profesionales, comunicativos, y mucho más!La animación nocturna corre, por lo que he visto, por un grupo de 3 personas, con ellos no llegue a tener contacto. Pero les he visto muy animados, atenciosos con los clientes y con una energía que le falta a mas de uno!En definitiva, el profesionalismo se ha unido al (muy) buen trato al cliente!Una experiencia inolvidable no se consigue unicamente con un hotel que parece recién estrenado, que en ese caso no es así, se consigue con el personal! Obviamente el local juega un papel importantisimo, pero no llega al punto de estropear todo la experiencia.

Despues de haberme alojado ya en varios de la cadena htop este es el peor de todos, el servicio pesimo, las intalaciones aunque pintadas viejas viejas, la habitacion estaba pintada pero el baño era como entrar a una cueva vieja, la bañera rota, la taza sucia por dentro, las toallas tiradas por ahi. El personal excepto dos, los demas unos bordes y prepotentes sobre todo los de recepcion. Se que por el precio no se puede pedir mas, es logico, pero ya digo que en otros de la misma cadena no tiene nada que ver. Lo peor ese horario de comidas, me toco el ultimo turno, es decir los ultimos 40 minutos, al llegar al comedor ya casi no quedaba nada y medio recogiendo, me parece una verguenza que te den 40 min para comer como si de una carcel se tratara. Ahhh y lo mejor fue que el ultimo dia, al tener el horario de desayuno a las 9 y media, bajamos, desayunamos rapido y cuando subimos a la habitacion ya no funcionaba la llave, es decir ya te hechan antes de poder recoger tus cosas de la habitacion. (PESIMO, NADA ACONSEJABLE, HORRIBLE)

Estive 5 dias neste hotel e só posso aconselhar a quem tiver a intenção de o escolher, que não o faça. A comida é péssima, tanto ao nível nutricional, como da sua confeção. Por ex: ovos mexidos 'instantâneos' cheios de água e com um gosto estranho, legumes congelados que foram cosidos a saberem a 'estragado', peixe completamente seco (pareceu-nos que tinha sido grelhado). Só se aproveita o que é grelhado ou feito na altura (fora do buffet) e mesmo assim, na maioria das vezes só se encontra bacon, salchichas e frango. A higiene da sala de refeições é péssima! Os pratos, copos e talheres apresentam-se sujos (com comida seca de refeições anteriores). Mostrámos ao chefe da sala de refeições o sucedido, que se mostrou sempre, desagradado com a reclamação e nada fez para melhorar as condições de higiene, nos dias que se seguiram. Nos quartos, ouve-se tudo o que se passa nos quartos laterais, bem como no corredor. A roupa das camas e WC já foram bastante usadas e necessitam de serem renovadas. As fotografias são enganosas! O hotel tem um aspeto bastante mais velho. É barato, sim, mas falta de higiene na sala de refeições é inaceitável! Não aconselho!!

Nao recomendo. Muito velho, decoração horrorosa, quartos velhos, móveis antigos velhos, tectos a descascar, a nivel de tintas nas paredes horrível. Espaço exterior pequeno muito pequeno quase nenhum. Piscinas pequenas para milhentas pessoas que lá se encontram. Muita mas mesmo muita ma gestão. O hotel não usa sistema de pulseira mas sim cartão para se identificar e cartão para levantar copos para consumir no bar caso nao entreguemos copos ficam sem os cartões. Regime TI muito estranho e um TI sem bebidas só com algumas muitas delas não incluídas se as quiser tem que as pagar bem como café expresso. Hotel muito estranho não recomendado de maneira alguma. Muito mas mesmo ma experiência

Nada aconselhável para férias prolongadas em família, os quartos são pequenos e muito perto uns dos outros o que faz com que se possa ouvir ruídos mais altos e as camas não são muito confortáveis, é mais indicado para férias com amigos. Por outro lado, o staff de limpeza bem comos os da recessão e bar são muito simpáticos e bons trabalhadores. Tem uma ótima sala de estar, grande zona do bar e também uma sala de jogos para os mais novos. O Hotel organiza eventos muito divertidos como karaoke, quizz night e DJ, piscinas exteriores ótimas para o verão e encontra se muito perto da praia e de ótimos restaurantes e discotecas.

Necesita una reforma ¡¡ya!!. Sólo si te gusta el estilo vintage te gustará este hotel. Lo único bueno es el fotógrafo de la página web. La limpieza parecía oportuna, pero no lucía por lo cutre de todo. La comida muy abundante, pero de supervivencia. Mucho visitante extranjero, pero aquí no han probado el jamón serrano. De las tres estrellas yo lo dejaría en una y media y sólo por la amabilidad de una encargada de la limpieza que conocí.Lo siento, pero no me ha gustado nada.

Pagamos habitación cuádruple y nos metieron en una doble minúscula con 2 camas supletorias, lo cual impedía poder abrir la puerta del balcón o del armario sin desplazar una de las camas. El espacio legal por persona en una habitación no esta para nada respetado, además todo el hotel necesita una buena reforma porque se cae a cachos. La comida bien pero los platos y vasos súper sucios.

Para algo sirven la reseñas , he estado este fin de semana en este hotel (si se le puede dar la categoría de hotel y menos de tres estrellas) leíantes las reseñas para estar preparado con lo que me encontraría , pero aún a si quise ir......gran error, limpieza mínima por no decir nula el edificio viejo,descuidado y todos los adjetivos que se le puede dar a un mal hotel. Habitaciones sucias , viejas y descuidadas, Equipamiento horrible, rotas o estropeadas. El interior acorde con el exterior. Siempre intento ver lo bueno de donde voy por eso lo único bueno que he visto a este hotel fue las copas en la fiesta de carnaval del bar buenos precios y licor de 1°. Más de 1500 personasese fin de semana que seguro el 99%no repiten.

Esta viejo y deteriorado con mobiliario muy antiguo y gastado, le hace una reforma integral con urgencia para poder mantener el tres estrellas. Poco personal en comedor, hasta tal punto de tener que recoger tu mismo una mesa, por falta de mesas montadas y tener que hacer cola de casi 20 minutos para entrar a desayunar. Comida muy repetitiva, piscinas pequeñas. Lo único bueno del hotel es el personal, desde recepción a servicio de limpieza, sin olvidar a los animadores (maravillosos) y al personal de comedor que no dan a basto pero no se les borra la sonrisa; todos muy amables, pero las instalaciones pésimas.

I know we paid for a 3 star hotel but the room was awful. Our family basically shared a bed all week. It was falling apart. We could not open the balcony doors without climbing over the beds. Sockets were broken. The all inclusive was very limited and poor. No wristbands just cards you had to ensure you had at all times which was a pain when you wanted to go to the pool. The food was disgusting and we had to eat out most days. You were limited to cocktail of the day from a machine which were watery and mostly foul tasting. My two boys did like the lemonade though and generally the staff throughout were really friendly hence the 2 stars. (although the restaurant staff were rude) never again.

This is not your Luxury hotel. My review reflects price/quality ratio, with higher weight given to the price. The furniture is slightly depreciated, but the rooms are kept clean. The elevators were often taken (a lot of guests), so if it's hard for you to walk, make sure you take a room in one of the lower floors. The staff is very kind and helpful. The food buffet is great! A lot to chose from and quality ingredients. The beach is only 5mins walk from the hotel. Overall we were quite happy!

The buffet area has seen shinier days. The food itself is good, but I suggest bringing your own mug, plate, fork and knife, as the ones provided are not for the faint-hearted.The lack of smoke detectors in the rooms makes it possible to smoke inside, which is a nice added bonus.Security will make sure nobody disturbs any guests in any way after 12:00 PM, so you'll be able to sleep well and enjoy your stay.The staff speaks fluent English, so communication won't be a problem.Solid 4/5.

My girlfriend and I have just returned from staying at the H Top Olympic. After reading all the negative comments and reviews, I was quite nervous as what to expect. Yes the hotel is a bit dated and might be rough in a few places, but this is a budget hotel and not the Ritz! As we went all inclusive I was impressed with the variety there was each day for breakfast, lunch and dinner. You defiantly won't go hungry. Breakfast and dinner times can be chaotic, and trying to find knives a forks at these times for an uncleared table is impossible. The staff are really nice and friendly and are always happy to help. In the main lounge there's a large bar and area for families to enjoy the night time entertainment. The rooms are dated but cleaned daily. There's plenty of room by the pool to enjoy the sunny days. So if you're after a clean hotel and on a budget, then this is the 1 for you. I would definitely come back.

We have just left the hotel after a 4 night stay and we haven't had a decent nights sleep. The hotel hosted large groups of children/teenagers due to an event, hence being woken late at night, early hours of the morning. Definately recommended you check for any events before you book. We booked a room for 4 people and we literally had 4 single beds squashed into a small space which was only suitable for 2, felt like a hostel not a hotel. On the other hand, the pools were nice, definitely recommend all inclusive, the staff were helpful there was a friendly atmosphere and the location was only a short walk to the beach.

Budget hotel, clean, nice staff. Having v read some of the reviews I was expecting the worse however pleasantly surprised. The rooms were small especially for 4 people and the balcony can only for 2 but the beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean. Didn't have a problem with the 1 drink at a time as the system seems to work. Even if I did keep losing my cardsand glasses. There was plenty of food. Although sometimes a little cold. The kids club was great and the staff helpful and pleasant. A perfectly reasonable budget holiday

3 of us stayed for a short girly break of 3 nights at the hotel all inclusive. It was our second time after staying there in May last year for a few days and we were not disappointed again! It was a cheap and cheerful holiday, you pay for 3* so don't expect 5*. Yes the rooms are dated but always clean, we only stayed in the room for sleeping so we didn't mind the state of them. The walls are thin but you can have a laugh listening to other people! There are no hair dryers in the room so don't forget to take one with you. Also the bath towels are a bit small, we used our own towels for the sunbeds. View is lovely from the balconies on the pool side. In the restaurant there was always plenty of choice of food, we always found something we liked. If something is cold, you can heat it up in the microwave. Evening entertainment is standard, but all in all we think a holiday is what you make of it! Staff is friendly, polite and welcoming. Big thank you to the bar staff who made our drinks and made us smile each time, especially Juan, Mariman and David with his special cocktails :) The pool areas are nice as well, plenty of sunbeds. There are always troublemaking and complaining rude people around but you just have to ignore and avoid them. The hotel's location is perfect, 10 minutes walk to the sea, plenty of bars and restaurants around, loads of shops, you can take nice walks in town, bus stop to airport is few minutes away.
We loved our time and will definitely be back again!

Worst place I've ever being. Avoid it if you can, at least if you're traveling with children. Dirty, old furniture, drunk people you can hear 24/7 through paper thin walls, elevator is always occupied... Location is ok and thus is the one and only advantage.

The rooms are tired and out dated. No kettle, fridge, or hairdryer. The hairdryer I can live without, but when you can't get any form of drink before 8am, it's a bit frustrating. Resturant is too small for the size if the hotel, and had to queue almost daily to get in. Nowhere near enough staff, although they were all lovely and tried their best. In fact all of the staff were lovely, except security, who were useless. The hotel is positioned right next door to a nightclub, so not ideal for young families as the music goes on very late, and is very loud. They also allow groups of young lads and girls to stay. And do nothing when they are smoking weed, especially around the pool areas. The pools are OK. The kids loved them, and it is a short walk to the beach and the local town, which is lovely. I would not stay here again, or recommend it to any of my friends.

El hotel está bastante anticuado. La comida no está mal teniendo en cuenta la calidad- precio. Los camareros, en general, muy serviciales y amables, al igual que las señoras de la limpieza. Tienen actuaciones y baile todas las noches, pero terminan a las 12 por lo que el hotel no es ruidoso. En las comidas mucha gente por lo que a veces hay que hacer cola para entrar al comedor, pero, en general, teniendo en cuenta la calidad-precio el hotel no está mal.

The hotel has been rated three star but I would definitely say that's pushing it. The building is really dated and it all just needs a bit of tlc. The rooms are super basic which didn't bother us too much as we were only there for 4 days. It's not the cleanest if places, poolside toilet being particularly bad. The pool itself is nice though. All inclusive drinks are great and the hotel is in a good location in relation to the town and beach and opposite a supermarket, however it is right next to a night club and at night the street quickly fills up with people enjoy their night out and becomes quite loud, this stuff doesn't bother us but would bother others quite easily. Luckily our room was pool facing and had a lovely view away from all the noise so I would recommend booking one of these rooms if you are going. The food was just about adequate but would quickly become boring if you were staying for any length of time.All in all, don't expect anything great from this hotel, it did the job for us and we had a nice holiday as we didn't spend much time at the hotel. But I wouldn't have wanted to stay any longer.
