Quando respondi que não, vou ficar aqui com meu cartão-chave na mão. Ela continuou a olhar e me olhar de cima a baixo. Quando voltei para o meu quarto, liguei para a recepção para relatar que seu comportamento era rude e insultuoso, ela então me disse que não se desculpou, porque não tinha tempo e, quando perguntei seu nome como referência, ela afirmou que não se sentia confortável e inicialmente recusou. Ela encerrou a ligação dizendo que tinha outra ligação para atender. Na noite seguinte, houve uma festa em alguns dos quartos até as 2 da manhã. Embora os serviços de limpeza tenham sido reduzidos, não houve tentativa de reabastecer o quarto com café ou água. Na hora do check out não há oferta de serviço de concierge para ajudar com as malas. No geral, eu diria para verificar as muitas outras opções na área antes de reservar.

So this is rated a 4 star hotel, but I’m going to say that it was very disappointing. Stayed for 4 nights. Front desk personnel (Nelly) was extremely rude and insulting. Upon picking up my Uber eats from lobby she decided to yell from the desk to ask if I was delivering. I was holding my key card and had been waiting in the lobby for almost 10 min. When I replied no, I’m staying here with my key card held out. She continued to stare and look me up and down. When I got back to my room I called the front desk to relay that her behaviour was rude and insulting, she then proceeded to tell me that she didn’t apologize, because she didn’t have time and when asked her name for reference she stated she didn’t feel comfortable and initially refused. She ended the call by saying that she had another call to take. Next night, there was a party raging in some of the rooms until 2am. Although housekeeping services had been reduced, but there was no attempt to replenish room with coffee or water. At check out time no offer of concierge service to help with bags. Overall, I would say to check the many other options in the area before booking.

Este se tornou nosso hotel favorito em Houston. É perto da parte sudoeste da cidade, onde fazemos a maior parte dos nossos negócios. Existem também muitos restaurantes étnicos a uma curta caminhada. Os quartos do Royal Sonesta são muito aconchegantes e tranquilos. Nossas interações com a equipe foram breves, mas agradáveis. Em nossa visita mais recente, quando descobrimos que tínhamos sido acomodados em um quarto ao lado dos elevadores, eles nos colocaram em um diferente a nosso pedido. Não podemos dizer nada sobre o café da manhã, por nunca tê-lo experimentado.

Comida era pequenas porções e cara única coisa que vale o preço, eu diria que seria as asas de frango no menu. Room was nice and comfortable staff was very nice and helpful. Não tivemos problemas com eles, o único problema que tive foi tentar ligar do quarto para solicitar serviço de quarto, eles nunca atendem o telefone, então você terá que descer as escadas. Porque eu liguei e desliguei 10 vezes a recepcionista me reconectou várias vezes. Outra coisa que apreciei foi o dispensador de sabonete no chuveiro. É bom ter o dispensador de parede com bomba, para que você não precise descer e pedir a menor garrafa do planeta. Bom se você usar muito sabão para se limpar.

This has become our favorite hotel in Houston. It is near the southwest part of town, where we do most of our business. There are also many ethnic restaurants within walking distance. The rooms at the Royal Sonesta are very cozy and quiet. Our interactions with the staff have been brief but pleasant. On our most recent visit, when we found that we had been given a room next to the elevators, they put us in a different one upon our request. We can say nothing about the breakfast, having never tried it.

Food was small portions and expensive only thing worth the price I'd say would be the chicken wings on the menu. Room Was nice and comfortable staff was really nice and helpful had no Issues with them only issue I had was trying to call from the room to Order room service they never answer the phone so Your gonna have to walk downstairs. Cause I called and was hung up on 10 times receptionist reconnected me several times. Other thing I appreciated was the soap dispenser in the shower it's nice to have the pump wall Hang dispenser so you don't have to go down and ask for the tiniest bottle on the planet. Good if you use alot of soap to get clean.

Not worth the money! We were there for 2 nights for a wedding but were very disappointed in the room size! Very small rooms and the showers in the bathroom have no pressure whatsoever! We booked 15 rooms and all rooms were very small and every guest complained about the shower! THEY HAVE THEIR OWN GARAGE BUT CHARGE $25 PER NIGHT FOR PARKING!!! You can stay across the street for much cheaper with free parking and bigger room! Staff is friendly but they definitely need to look into spending some money on shower heads!

The hotel itself is beautiful for company gatherings or weddings. Service is quick and impeccable. Beds and pillows are comfortable. My only drawback is their AC is on a motion sensor so the room gets hot when you leave it and it got hot on us in the middle of the night when we were sleeping and of course, motionless. After conferring with colleagues, they experienced the same issue. While I am all for energy savings, not when I am sleeping please.

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary weekend. Upon arrival and entering the hotel, it seemed very nice. Our first bad experience was the rude clerk at the desk who was going to cancel our reservation due to my husbands card not working. (It is card with a chip. They only had a machine that swiped. However, the card worked perfectly all weekend.) He didn’t even offer to enter it manually until I asked him to do so. The room was decent. The view was good. Very little to no hot water the whole weekend. The pool is located on the 5th floor. Not the roof as some people have stated in reviews. Spend your money at a nicer place for the price of this hotel.

O Hotel de Houston é muito bom, a localização poderia ser mais central mas tem um bom shopp do lado e alguns restaurantes, não conhecemos Houston em detalhes mas acho que a cidade tem mais a oferecer em outros bairros. My review is based on a gala I attended in the ballroom. The event set up was so beautiful and luxurious. The facilities and bathrooms were beautifully upkept and clean. The food was delicious and the servers were wonderful, very nice and attentive. I look forward to attending more events here!

Meu Deus, agora eu conheço Leslie, a bartender, como se ela fosse uma família, porque minha viagem para Houston eu tive uma vibração familiar. Gente muito doce. A piscina está localizada na cobertura, passando pela academia .. e o ônibus leva você a cerca de um raio de 8 km, o que é legal se você não quiser andar pelas 5 pistas para ir a qualquer lugar.

Attended the 2021 Humanitarian Awards with my wife and brother and his lady friend. Very well attended event that paid homage to a group of people who have given back to the community, big time. Houston Mayor, Sylvester Turner came through. Royal Sonesta is a terrific facility!

I wasn't impressed. Very disappointing. The rooms are very small and basic, like something maybe a motel would offer. I thought this was supposed to be a luxury hotel, but the only thing close to luxury looking was the entry/check-in level of the hotel. I stayed here in May/2021. I travel often and have paid less for a lot more than this hotel offers. This hotel charges luxury rates, but there is nothing luxury about this hotel. I will say that the view from my room was nice, overlooking the highway and nicely lit tall buildings.

Omg now I know Leslie the bartender like she's family because my trip to Houston I got just that a family vibe. Very sweet people. Pool is located on roof out passed the gym.. and the shuttle bus takes you about a five mile radius which is cool if you don't wanna walk across the 5lanes to go anywhere.

My experience was excellent! The bartender Ed Warner II was a joy to be around; great conversation and even better drinks. The valet guy was very nice and let me park my car for a few minutes while I spoke to the front desk about a courtesy block. The room was nice and I had a super cool view from the 20th floor.

The hotel was amazing. The all the staff was polite (the kind of polite you see in a hallmark movie) and very attentive to my words. I was very impressed. We loved the pool area. The hotel is right next to the freeway and we couldn't hear it at all both in out room and at the pool. The water was fresh and and clean as were the towels. We couldn't have dreamed up a better experience. Thanks

No hay limpieza, no hay valet parking, el estacionamiento es como si uno entrara a un basurero municipal. Estuve hospedada 5 días y durante todo ese tiempo no pudieron recoger una montañade basura que se encontraba en el servicio de lavadoras. El hotel está viejo y los baños de las habitaciones dejan mucho que desear. La alfombra de los cuartos se ve que no la han limpiado en años y por cuestiones del covid no limpian las habitaciones diario. Las fotos que se ven en internet no coinciden con lo que se ve en la realidad, la alberca esta vieja y sucia. No lo recomiendo

Royal Sonesta Houston is an outstanding hotel. its clean and the environment is very serene and friendly. The staff here go above and beyond to make you feel special. Nice hotel. Was there for a company Gala. The parking was an issue. They reserved the first 4 levels for valet but the spots were all mostly empty.... On a Saturday night. All the guest had to park level 5 and higher.

Cool place. Very hospitable. Great location. They need a better room service menu tho. Not really the menu, but higher quality burgers, steak, and cheeses. I recommend Dean and Peeler for the beef.
