The Mexican brand, which embraces global chic with native authenticity, is giving guests a new kind if all-in experience. This leave-the-kids-behind, sophisticated es-cape is designed to segue easily from beachfront to roof-top to bar lounge. Brilliantly located, it's a get away, not just from the kids and Monday through Friday grind, but from the pre-fab escapism of conventional all-inclusive stays. During the day, guests can relax and tan at the stunning beach just down the street from the hotel, with access and special rates at the famous Mamita's Beach Club. The afternoon and evening can be spent on the Quinta Avenida (5th Avenue) where local bars and indigenous crafts shops meld into to world-renown eateries and luxury bou-tiques.

Good value for the money. The roof top is one of the best views in the city. Nice clean rooms. Breakfast is usually included. Only complaint is that you can hear the clinking of the breakfast plates at 6am.. not much they can do but it woke me every day.

Un hotel para destacar, ubicado muy cerca de la playa y de todo lo que necesites. El personal todo el tiempo está preocupado de uno, las instalaciones son geniales para descansar y disfrutar, realmente recomendado para ir en pareja o con amigos, ya que es solo para adultos, pero cuenta con instalaciones si es que necesitas algo familiar, realmente lo recomiendo.

Do not book this resort! I didn’t even make it to stay there because they are so rude. I booked a room and never received a confirmation email or anything. Then when my sister and I called to ask questions. They either don’t answer the phone or when they do. They transfer you without warning and then hang up in your face. I’ve called 5 times. The young lady took a deep sigh and transferred me again. I still haven’t received any type of confirmation emails of my booking or cancellations. If their customer service is this poor I do NOT want to stay there.

This hotel was very nice inside and out. We got the all inclusive package that came with so many extras I couldn't name them all. They follow a very concerned approach to covid. Service was great and attentive with roof top views from the pool that you'll remember for times to come. Even enjoyed drinks from their other location Coco Beach where you could lounge on the beach and watch the waves. Lastly the food... Man! I'm still thinking about that lamb shank in some type of mole sauce, and the breakfast buffet will definitely have something that you'll enjoy. Thanks Reef28! See you guys soon

This was a beautiful hotel and they were extremely accommodating, however unfortunately it was suppose to be a girls trip for 8 women. Our travel agent did not do her job correctly otherwise she wouldn't have missed major key points. This hotel was not meant for us, it is meant for couples, groups of couples and families. We enjoyed our time, but next time we'll do our own research.

Absolutely loved Reef 28! The rooms are clean and updated. The beds were clean and so comfortable. I usually can't sleep if not in my own bed but I had the best sleep here. The shower was my favorite with the glass walls. Had breakfast at the hotel and it was delicious. They had an awesome omelet station and everything was very fresh. The hotel staff was very attentive and professional. Made us feel like VIP guests. Will definitely be staying here again.

Myself and my husband came here for wedding anniversary. From the moment we touch the front lobby we were given nothing but VIP service. The food was great the drinks were steady. Customer service was beyond exceptional. You have to try out the spa your visit won’t be complete without it. My only complaint is the constant techno music at the roof top lounge. This place is diverse and more than one selection of music is needed in order to make everyone feel included. I’ll definitely be returning one of the best resorts ever!

Muy bonito hotel, rica comida. Nosotros íbamos de luna de miel, esperamos más de una hora para que nos dieran una habitación (esto después de las 3pm) y cuando buscamos cenar, no nos dieron mesa porque nos pasamos de DOS MINUTOS! Muy poco flexibles. Nos hicieron pasar un muy mal rato.

This place cannot be described as anything less than AMAZING. My two friends and I were already talking about coming back before we even left. We bought the allinclusive package and it was worth every dollar. Facilities were so clean and COVID cautious, which made all of us feel safe. The food was great with so many options (we were all vegetarians on the trip) and every worker was so pleasant and helpful. We spent a lot of time at the rooftop pool and I have to say, I’ve never felt more relaxed. Our waiter, Mario, was the absolute best. He was so attentive and kind. We all wanted to be friends with him at the end. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone, I’ve already convinced my coworker :)

One of the best hotels I have ever visited period. The service is amazing, food is awesome and the facilities are all there for every one of your needs. I took an all inclusive package and didn't have to pay a single penny at the end, everything (drinks and food) was included, no hidden costs. The room was as good as a five star and there is a pool and two jacuzzi tubs on the roof.

Falta de seguridad en el Roof 28. El lugar que nos tocó fueron unos asientos tipo sala con sombrilla muy cómoda aunque en una zona que no está a la vista la alberca. Al pararnos para meternos a la alberca motivados por el mesero diciendo que era un lugar seguro y podíamos dejar todo en el lugar, alguien nos abrió las bolsas y pertenencias. No tenemos certeza de cuánto pudieron quitarnos de efectivo.Le dijimos al mesero y al gerente para que revisaran las cámaras de seguridad, pero sorprendentemente nos dijeron que no servían.Así que, el lugar es bonito, buena música, buena ubicación. Solo que cuando vayan nunca dejen sus pertenencias lejos de su vista.

A wonderful hotel. Incredible breakfasts. Beautiful rooftop pool and bar. Every afternoon they came by with cute treats like iced, cupcakes, etc. Staff was fantastic. Also you can use amenities at 2 other resorts nearby!

Sadly, my experience with the spa has been one of in consistency. Incapable staff in the spa and front desk. No English spoken, making it impossible to navigate the hotel and services as well As enjoy the experience No managers are EVER available to resolve issues in the hotel or spa. Very sad :-( UPDATE: after receiving a response from Reef I sent an email, as retested. As usual for this establishment, NO RESPONSE! It was just for show! Your enjoyment of this property matters not. Only your money!

Location was great! Would I return or recommend the Reef 28, probably not. Would like to give credit to Anna and the entire Front Desk team (including the excursion representative). The Front Desk team provided us with a warm welcome, very attentive and engaging during our stay. The concierge was also very helpful in assisting a surprise birthday room celebration for my wife. All the restaurant personnel provided the type of service that we are accustomed to when we visit Mexico. The Roof Top, service was very disappointing. It appeared that they were staffed adequately but lacked structure. Several times we would place an order only to have to get up and approach the bar to inquire about our order. Roof Top personnel in huddles conversing while we were waiting for food or drinks. This poor service occured during every Roof Top visit. Two days out of our stay we had to track down House Keeping. Last, our shower temperature NEVER exceeded lukewarm.

Our stay at Reef28 was wonderful! We were there for a week and had a great time. The staff is truly exceptional, including concierge, bartenders, room service, massage therapists and waiters/waitresses. We regularly had Gamaliel as a waiter and he always went above and beyond for us. Definitely recommend this resort for any adult looking for a luxury resort with no kids!
