It was “okay” if I can say other then it being pet friendly.. there was $150!!! additional charge on your credit card for each room.. we got 2 rooms and charged 300$… and you May possibly not get it back… the bed was comfortable but that was about it.. the rooms had no where to sit BUT the bed, we had to ask for additional chairs….No parking at all, if you are coming in later at night, dump trucks and trucks with trailers or boats will take up majority of the space so you will have to park either across the street or in the parking lot at the other hotel.. Breakfast says included but it was a one yogurt, a banana and a granola bar in a paper bag… should just say complimentary.. Unfortunately, we found too many issues to want to go back. “King” bed was two lumpy doubles pushed together, no coffee/tea or kettle in the room (although front desk provided kettle no problem), shower spout diverted didn’t work so it was a half-shower half-bath, and the “grab and go” breakfast was a granola bar, yogurt, and juice box, which should not qualify as a breakfast in any country.It was a quick stopover with a good location so we just dealt with it, but if I was spending more time in Kamloops, I would have found somewhere else. Os funcionários são muito simpáticos, os quartos são amplos e impecáveis, estacionamento externo gratuito e as tarifas são baixas para a cidade. Infelizmente, encontramos muitos problemas para querer voltar. A cama “King” era composta por duas camas de casal irregulares juntas, sem café / chá ou chaleira no quarto (embora a recepção fornecesse chaleira sem problemas), o bico do chuveiro desviado não funcionava, então era um meio banho meio chuveiro e o O café da manhã “pegue e leve” era uma barra de granola, iogurte e caixa de suco, que não deveria se qualificar como café da manhã em nenhum país.Foi uma parada rápida com uma boa localização, então acabamos de lidar com isso, mas se eu estivesse passando mais tempo em Kamloops, teria encontrado outro lugar.
The beds were incredibly comfortable. Nice big clean rooms other than the floors don’t seem to be vacuumed all the much, especially in the hallways, and friendly staff. However, not enough parking, no pool, and the “continental breakfast” should not even be offered it’s a joke. Lobby is uncomfortably small as well. Checking in and out process is very long so being in there is not great. I tried messaging the property multiple times to ask if we could change our reservation to a pet friendly room, as well to let them know we would be checking in late, and to enquire about if they have a pool. But never received a reply there. I wouldn’t stay there again myself, but it gets the job done if you don’t want anything special. As camas eram incrivelmente confortáveis. The rooms were quite new and spacious. Not much of a bagged breakfast... all items from Costco. Stayed 4 nights, not one day was there room cleaning. Staff were relatively friendly. I'd say if you were staying a couple of days, its a good option. Any more and you would miss things that you get in other 'hotels'. Os quartos eram bastante novos e espaçosos. Não muito de um pequeno-almoço embalado... todos os itens de Costco. Se Hospedaram 4 noites, não um dia foi limpeza do quarto. A equipe foi relativamente amigável. Eu diria que se você fosse ficar alguns dias, é uma boa opção. Mais e você perderia coisas que você recebe em outros 'hotéis'.
I generally do not like to write reviews, but our experience in customer service and hospitality at this Hotel was the worst I've ever experienced. We booked a pet-friendly room at Hue in Kamloops, that clearly said pet-friendly on the room selection when we booked it directly on their website. When we arrived, the clerk told us that our room was not pet-friendly, but could "upgrade" us to a pet-friendly room for an additional fee, plus a pet fee. The room "upgrade" was not even an upgrade. The rate for the location and the room was not worth it. We felt the misleading communication on their website was not our fault when the room we booked clearly had "pet-friendly" written on it. This seems to be an issue with this hotel based on other reviews I've read here after the fact. When I asked the clerk to at least honour the original rate for the room we booked with the new "upgrade", he was rude, made it seem like it was our fault and refused. His hospitable solution was to cancel our reservation if we didn't want to pay the "upgraded" fee for the room. For a hotel that is well outside the city centre, the "upgrade" fee wasn't even worth it. We were left without accommodation as he canceled our booking. Either make it very clear on your website about which rooms are actually pet-friendly, or provide better customer service for those customers who are mislead on your website when they arrive. I will not be returning to this hotel and management should reconsider who they hire as their desk representatives. The clerk could have handled it better and chose not to. Nice, modern rooms and good location. Took forever to check in because there was no one at the front desk, and rarely was when I came and went each day.I had the King room which faced the hillside on the back of the hotel, so not much for view. My coworker said the view from the front side was very nice. My room was large, but kind of an awkward setup with the kitchenette only 1m from my bed. Bed was comfortable and the climate control worked very well. Quartos agradáveis, modernos e boa localização. Demorou uma eternidade para fazer o check-in porque não havia ninguém na recepção e raramente era quando eu entrava e saía todos os dias.Eu tinha o quarto King que ficava de frente para a encosta na parte de trás do hotel, então não muito para ver. Meu colega de trabalho disse que a vista da frente era muito boa. Meu quarto era grande, mas meio estranho, com a cozinha a apenas 1 m da minha cama. Tomó una eternidad registrarse porque no había nadie en la recepción, y rara vez era cuando iba y venía todos los días.Tuve la habitación King que daba a la ladera de la parte trasera del hotel, así que no había mucho que ver. Great location for those that are staying the night en route to other destinations as it is in the middle of many gas stations, close to many restaurants / fast food outlets, and less than 30 seconds away from the main highway. Really enjoyed the decor and spacious room. From my experience many places have suffered from staffing shortages and may have explained a few small inconveniences that I experienced. Gentleman at the front desk was very friendly and polite. Would recommend to friends and family. Ótima localização para quem vai passar a noite a caminho de outros destinos, pois fica no meio de muitos postos de gasolina, próximo a muitos restaurantes/fast food, e a menos de 30 segundos da rodovia principal. Gostei muito da decoração e do quarto espaçoso. Pela minha experiência, muitos lugares sofreram com a falta de pessoal e podem ter explicado alguns pequenos inconvenientes que experimentei. Cavalheiro na recepção foi muito simpático e educado. Recomendaria a amigos e familiares.
Great location for those that are staying the night en route to other destinations as it is in the middle of many gas stations, close to many restaurants / fast food outlets, and less than 30 seconds away from the main highway. Really enjoyed the decor and spacious room. From my experience many places have suffered from staffing shortages and may have explained a few small inconveniences that I experienced. Gentleman at the front desk was very friendly and polite. Would recommend to friends and family. Excelente ubicación para aquellos que se quedan a pasar la noche en el camino a otros destinos, ya que se encuentra en medio de muchas estaciones de servicio, cerca de muchos restaurantes / establecimientos de comida rápida y a menos de 30 segundos de la carretera principal. Realmente disfruté la decoración y la espaciosa habitación. Here is the good: the beds are comfortable, the rooms are spacious the kitchenette is really nice to have and the staff was friendly.Here is the ugly: the parking lot is small and very tight, if you have a large SUV or Truck it’s interesting. Our room was not clean, I’m talking dirt and literally broken glass on the floor, we wore shoes in our room at all times. There were dust bunnies/pet hair along the walls, stains on the curtains, grossness in the bathroom and actual pieces of broken glass on the floor that I picked up and took to the front desk. I specifically asked for the floor to be properly cleaned while we were out because of the glass and it took two days to actually get done (three night stay), only the traffic areas were cleaned, there was still dust bunnies and pet hair under the chairs and along the walls. There are no lamps, which seems insignificant but all the overhead lightning is quite bright. The “continental breakfast” is a brown lunch bag with a yogurt, granola bar and juice box from Costco. The reasoning we were given for the lack of hot continental breakfast was because of the pandemic, but being here for a sports tournament we spoke with others staying in different hotels that are doing hot breakfasts, so I’m guessing it’s more of a staffing issues or financial choice.I don’t need a whole lot out of the place I sleep while away from my home, but I do need it to be clean. This place was not that. I won’t recommend it to anyone, and I won’t be staying there ever again. Eu pedi especificamente que o chão fosse devidamente limpo enquanto estávamos fora por causa do vidro e demorou dois dias para ser feito (estadia de três noites), apenas as áreas de tráfego foram limpas, ainda havia coelhinhos de poeira e pêlos de animais sob o cadeiras e ao longo das paredes. Não há lâmpadas, o que parece insignificante, mas toda a iluminação do teto é bastante brilhante. O “café da manhã continental” é uma lancheira marrom com iogurte, barra de granola e caixa de suco da Costco. O raciocínio que nos foi dado para a falta de café da manhã continental quente foi por causa da pandemia, mas estando aqui para um torneio esportivo, conversamos com outras pessoas hospedadas em hotéis diferentes que estão tomando café da manhã quente, então acho que é mais uma questão de pessoal ou escolha financeira.Não preciso de muito fora do lugar onde durmo enquanto estou longe de casa, mas preciso que esteja limpo. Here is the good: the beds are comfortable, the rooms are spacious the kitchenette is really nice to have and the staff was friendly.Here is the ugly: the parking lot is small and very tight, if you have a large SUV or Truck it’s interesting. Our room was not clean, I’m talking dirt and literally broken glass on the floor, we wore shoes in our room at all times. There were dust bunnies/pet hair along the walls, stains on the curtains, grossness in the bathroom and actual pieces of broken glass on the floor that I picked up and took to the front desk. I specifically asked for the floor to be properly cleaned while we were out because of the glass and it took two days to actually get done (three night stay), only the traffic areas were cleaned, there was still dust bunnies and pet hair under the chairs and along the walls. There are no lamps, which seems insignificant but all the overhead lightning is quite bright. The “continental breakfast” is a brown lunch bag with a yogurt, granola bar and juice box from Costco. The reasoning we were given for the lack of hot continental breakfast was because of the pandemic, but being here for a sports tournament we spoke with others staying in different hotels that are doing hot breakfasts, so I’m guessing it’s more of a staffing issues or financial choice.I don’t need a whole lot out of the place I sleep while away from my home, but I do need it to be clean. This place was not that. I won’t recommend it to anyone, and I won’t be staying there ever again. The Hue is a great place to stay in Kamloops. Its a newer hotel in Kammy, with modern rooms and the hospitality there is always great, they are very attentive and try their best to deliver great, quality customer service. It sounds like Ill be back next week so I will be sure to book in then!

We came to Kamloops for a weekend getaway and were very impressed by the hue hotel! The rooms were spacious, beautiful and very clean! The staff were amazing, friendly and very knowledgeable. We could not have asked for a better stay! Thank you for everything Hue hotel staff! We will be back!
Tuve una gran estadía en The Hue. Estaba visitando a mi hermana en Kamloops y ella me reservó para quedarme allí. Es un hotel nuevo con muebles realmente modernos. I had a great stay at The Hue. I was visiting my sister in Kamloops and she booked me in to stay there. It’s a brand new hotel with really modern furniture. I had a great sleep and the breakfast had lots of hot options which was a nice surprise compared to the usual continental at most hotels.
