Tivemos uma estadia adorável na Mansão do Queen Victoria Hotel. A equipe foi extremamente acessível e útil quando tivemos que prolongar a nossa estadia devido a vários cancelamentos de voos. O quarto era muito elegante, o banheiro espaçoso e limpo. Além disso, a localização é perfeita. Mesmo ao lado do V&A Waterfront, mas eles ainda conseguem manter o complexo muito privado e exclusivo. Posso recomendar definitivamente!

Tuvimos una estancia maravillosa en el Manor House del Queen Victoria Hotel. El personal fue increíblemente comunicativo y servicial cuando tuvimos que prolongar nuestra estadía debido a múltiples cancelaciones de vuelos. La habitación era muy elegante, el baño espacioso y limpio. Además la ubicación es perfecta. Justo al lado del V&A Waterfront, pero aún logran mantener el complejo muy privado y exclusivo. ¡Definitivamente puedo recomendar!

We had a lovely stay at the Manor House at the Queen Victoria Hotel. The staff was incredibly forthcoming and helpful when we had to prolong our stay due to multiple flight cancellations. The room was very elegant, the bathroom spacious and clean.
Furthermore the location is perfect. Right next to the V&A Waterfront but they still manage to keep the complex very private and exclusive. I can definitely recommend!

Nós hospedado aqui 2 noites em janeiro 2021 em Manor House unit 1401.Prós: - o carregador de bagagem foi muito simpático e acolhedor. - estacionamento amplo / gratuito - a localização é excelente. Muito perto do Waterfront - quartos espaçosos (casa senhorial) - não muito longe da estação ferroviária (viemos com o Trem Azul) - Spa e piscina ao lado - o café da manhã foi incrível e o garçom super amigável - A maioria do pessoal é muito amigávelContras: - Não nos sentimos muito bem recebidos pela recepcionista, talvez ela tenha tido um dia ruim. Todas as outras recepcionistas foram muito educadas. - O leite prometido (pela mesma recepcionista) para o café nunca foi trazido e tivemos que ligar novamente. - O controle remoto da tv não tinha pilhas e a recepcionista / mordomo não atendeu mais o telefone e nem ligou de volta (por volta das 22:00) - alguns dos móveis / acessórios precisariam de um retoque, pois riscados, danificados, etc. (por exemplo, torneira de água na pia esquerda não montada corretamente e balançando, após a descarga do vaso sanitário continua funcionando com frequência) - as portas dos armários e guarda-roupas não possuem dobradiças de fechamento suave - o telefone na cama estava empoeirado - a tv não está montada corretamente, pois os cabos são visíveis por baixo e nas laterais da tvNão tenho certeza se o preço normal por noite é realmente tão alto quanto mostrado na internet, mas se estiver correto, eu acho que isso é demais para este quarto. Acho que pode ser por causa da localização.

Nos alojamos aquí 2 noches en enero de 2021 en la unidad 1401 de Manor House.Pros: - El portero de equipaje fue muy amable y acogedor. - estacionamiento amplio / gratuito La ubicacion es excelente. Muy cerca del Waterfront - habitaciones amplias (Manor House) - no lejos de la estación de tren (vinimos con el Tren Azul) - Spa y piscina al lado - el desayuno era increíble y el camarero super amable - La mayoría del personal muy amable.Contras: - No nos sentimos muy bienvenidos por la recepcionista, tal vez tuvo un mal día. Todas las demás recepcionistas han sido muy amables. - La leche prometida (por la misma recepcionista) para el café nunca fue traída y tuvimos que llamar nuevamente. - El control remoto de la televisión no tenía pilas y el recepcionista / mayordomo ya no levantaba el teléfono ni llamaba (alrededor de las 22:00) - algunos de los muebles / accesorios necesitarían un poco de retoque ya que están rayados, dañados, etc. (por ejemplo, el grifo de agua en el lavabo izquierdo no está montado correctamente y se mueve, después de tirar de la cadena, el inodoro sigue funcionando con bastante frecuencia) - las puertas de los armarios y armarios no tienen bisagras de cierre suave - el teléfono de la cama estaba polvoriento - la televisión no está montada correctamente debido a que los cables son visibles debajo y en el lateral de la televisiónNo estoy seguro de si el precio normal por noche es realmente tan alto como se muestra en Internet, pero si es correcto, sentiría que esto es demasiado para esta habitación. We stayed here 2 nights in January 2021 in Manor House unit 1401.
Pros:
- the baggage porter was very friendly and welcoming.
- ample/free parking
- location is excellent. Very close to the Waterfront
- rooms spacious (Manor House)
- not far from the train station (we came with the Blue Train)
- Spa and pool next door
- breakfast was amazing and the waiter super friendly
- Most of the staff very friendly
Cons:
- We didnt feel very welcome by the receptionist, maybe she had a bad day. All other receptionist have been very polite.
- The promised (by same receptionist) milk for the coffee was never brought and we had to call again.
- The tv remote did not have batteries and receptionist/butler did not pick up the phone anymore nor called back (around 22:00)
- some of the furniture / fittings would need bit a touch up as scratched, damaged etc (e.g. water tap on left basin not properly mounted and wiggly, after flushing the toilet keeps on running quite often)
- doors of cupboards and wardrobes do not have soft closing hinges
- phone on the bed was dusty
- tv not mounted properly as cables visible under and on the side of the tv
Not sure if the normal price per night is really as high as shown in the internet, but if correct then I would feel this is far too much for this room. I guess it could be because of the location.

One of the best hotels I’ve ever seen. The staff is oh soo lovely, literally from the moment you get to the reception you feel at home. The rooms are STUNNING. Of all the hotels we’ve been to, this is mine and my husband’s number 1. Absolutely out of this world!!

When we return to Cape Town we are 100% staying at Queen Victoria Hotel again! The entire hotel staff is professional, friendly and always one step ahead of us. It is perfectly located a short walk across the street from Queen Victoria Wharf with plenty of excellent restaurants and stores. Even the third party services they recommended or reserved for us were above our expectations. We have traveled to many countries around the world and this has by far been THE BEST hotel we have ever stayed at.

Very friendly staff. Beautiful view of the harbour from the room. Room was very well groomed, leaving amenities every time. Breakfasts are great, plus with Mimosas!
