Had a great 36 hours in Luxembourg some time back , including a night at the hotel. I love Sofitel beds and had a great comfortable sleep. Additionally, we had a great couple of drinks at their bar - which has amazing views of Luxembourg (along with the price tag) and a meal in Mu.

Checked in using SNU. Booked a Prestige Suite which, I believe is Junior Suite with panoramic view of the city. Excellent room, walk in closet, great bathroom, first time in a long time I did not have to descale the rain shower in a hotel as it was perfect. Great facilities, great restaurant, great rooftop bar. The only things that were missing was a welcome note and a welcome amenity but I could not care less as everything else is so nice! Super recommended and possibly the second best Sofitel in Europe we have been to. Great rebound after #sofitel Sofitel Biarritz Le Miramar Thalassa sea & spa disappointment.

Very good rooms , mine a suite gave a complete view of the vally.Front of house very good and a special mention should be given to the concierge. Sadly the restaurant had a boring menu not quality dishes, in my view there were no classics dishes. I found my waiter had no idea on the wines and did not offer a wine list - obviously he had no business sense! Sorry restaurant let's you down.

Not what I expected from a 5 star Sofitel. The welcoming was impersonal with less informations on the hotel and the near environment and we have to care about our baggage ourselves. The room was clean but in a used condition with scratches on the walls and the table (see pictures). Also the window is not openable and the ac is old. The wall pattern looks from distance nice but when you stand in front it looks like water stain. Overall not a +200 €/night room. The Breakfast buffet was with delicious french pastry and cold cuts. The self-service waffle station is nice but not in that hotel category. Also for coffee and fried eggs we had to ask proactively. The bar in the evening has a nice view but the loud electro music made a conversation impossible. In total it was okay for sleeping near the city center but very overpriced.

The service is outstanding in this hotel. The staff are clearly very well trained and are all willing to go abive and beyond for the guests. They made our stay. The views over the valley are stunning. The breakfast was wonderful. Stunning views, lovely relaxing atmosphere and very creative foods.

EXCELENTE. Mi experiencia en la cadena del hotel Sofitel es muy buena y El Gran Ducalfue magnifico. Nada mas entrar nos tomamos una cerveza en esa terraza cerrada pero con unas vistas impresionantes a la ciudad. La camarera súper amable. Las habitaciones amplias, limpias y cama cómoda. El desayuno muy rico y variado en la terraza contigua al bar La cena también en el mismo sitio y nos acompañó el Director del Hotel, por cierto español que lleva bastante tiempo en Luxemburgo y es un encanto de persona. Destacar la amabilidad del personal Totalmente recomendable Volveremos

Perfecto hotel , el personal muy amable y profesional con suerte nos atendieron en español. El desayuno incluye unas vistas de lujo a la antigua ciudad La habitacion muy limpia y muy comoda . Nuestra experiencia en luxemburgo a sido espectacular , la ciudad es una de las mas bonitas y limpias de europa en mi opinion . Volveremos !!!
