An absolute gem in the Eastern Cape. Founders feels like home. The jar of jelly beans and hot water bottle in my bed at turn down are such a special touch. This is aplace where "it allbegins " we have spent the most incredible time with our kids and grandchildren, it's as close to heaven as you can imagine. The staff, the hospitality, the cuisine then the closeness to nature, makes it easy to feel insignificant. The welcome by Craig and Glynnis our hosts was so genuine and warm and they looked after us tremendously throughout our stay. Thank you so much!The food cooked by Chef Wanda, Lloyd and Thembie was presented and served in style and tasted amazing, mitchelinstar quality. The extra effort put in was very much appreciated. Everything was perfect! Another shout out and thank you to Mandela, Ntosh and Bongi who made everything work so well and gave us every care and attention. We had such fun with them in the evenings. :)The room and other parts of the lodge was top notch and we felt perfectly comfortable and relaxed. The views across the estate were astounding. This is a 5 star experience through and through!!Sikhumbuzo our guide throughout our game viewings had an incredible knowledge about wildlife and was able to answer all our questions. He’s infectious enthusiasm for conservation was so impressive and he went so many extra miles to ensure we had the best of days.Our hosts Craig and Glynnis who made us feel so at home. Everything about what they did and said was professional and genuine. From Shaun the manager to Wanda our chef, Nick our game ranger who has an incredible knowledge of the animals and pretty much anything else on the lodge. Mandla our host who saw to our every need. I cannot speak highly enough of this team!!! Uno de los mejores albergues en los que he estado. Realmente hicieron todo lo posible para que nuestra estancia fuera agradable. Desde Shaun, el gerente, hasta Wanda, nuestra chef, Nick, nuestro guardabosques, que tiene un conocimiento increíble de los animales y casi cualquier otra cosa en el albergue. My very safari and I was not disappointed. The drivers were amazing, we were asked what we wanted to see before we left and they delivered plus. The staff at Mantis Founders couldn't do enough to make my trip perfect. The accommodation was so cozy. And the food was 5 star. I differently recommend this place. Mi muy safari y no me decepcionó. Los conductores fueron increíbles, nos preguntaron qué queríamos ver antes de irnos y nos entregaron más. El personal de Mantis Founders no pudo hacer lo suficiente para que mi viaje fuera perfecto. El alojamiento era tan acogedor. Y la comida era de 5 estrellas. Recomiendo de manera diferente este lugar.

Meu próprio safári e eu não fiquei desapontado. Os motoristas foram incríveis, nos perguntaram o que queríamos ver antes de sairmos e eles entregaram mais. A equipe do Mantis Founders não pôde fazer o suficiente para tornar minha viagem perfeita. A acomodação era tão aconchegante. E a comida era 5 estrelas. Eu diferentemente recomendo este lugar.

The best beds and friendly kitchen staff. Good security and wheelchair friendly. Beautiful farmhouse with a large fireplace. Peacefull with a small library.
